As millions of people watch top-level soccer players perform feats of athleticism and display incredible skill with ease, many wonder how these athletes compete at such a high level where the pressure to deliver incredible performance is at its height. How do these men and women become – and remain – such elite competitors? Although most of us have a basic understanding of the incredible athletic abilities and training regiments of the best players, fewer appreciate the mental skills that allow athletes to improve their performance, maintain a high-level of confidence, deal with ever-increasing stress and, oftentimes, recover from an injury or make a comeback.
We partner with the Head Sports Psychologist of the Argentinian National Team Juan Manuel Brindisi to make sure our players have access to the best mental training. |
